Russell Whiting's sculpture "Red Queen" wins Best of Show (a $2000 prize) at the Ocala Outdoor Sculpture Competition. It is a biennial exhibition showcasing striking works of art in Tuscawilla Park and Tuscawilla Art Park.
The outdoor exhibition transforms these parks into an open-air gallery offering residents and visitors the opportunity to experience large-scale sculptures in a natural setting.

Congratulations to Victoria Pearmain, whose exceptional artistry was highlighted in the 2025 Fall issue of Chatter Magazine.
Victoria draws inspiration from her great-grandmother and great aunt, both accomplished artists. She reflects, "I love fall with its deep, rich colors; winter with its endless hues of grey; and spring when nature gives a hint of things to come. Summer? Well, it's a challenge. It screams light and color and a hundred hues of green."
Through her work, Pearmain hopes to evoke a sense of peace and calm in viewers.

ARLINE MANN Awarded Second place in the American women artist's Exhibition
Watercolorist, Arline Mann, has been awarded second place in the current American Women Artists exhibition, "Vision of Nature" for her piece, All Those Worlds.
The American Women Artists is "a non-profit organization dedicated to the inspiration, celebration, and encouragement of women in the visual fine Arts" (AAA). This exhibition was held in the National Sporting Library & Museum in Virginia from October 3, 2025 - March 22, 2026.

Steel sculptor and Louisiana native Russell Whiting walks PBS through his artistic career, from working with the blowtorch on off-shore oil rigs to developing the unique method of carved-steel sculpture he uses today.
Russell is the current featured artist in our Sculpture Garden and a long time friend of the gallery.
ALLAN HOUSER HONORED AMONG INFLUENTIAL INDIGENOUS AMERICANS
Allan Houser was one of the first Indigenous artists to receive the National Medal of Arts in 1992, and his sculpture, Swift Messenger, sits in the President's Oval Office today.

The original artwork Scott created for Hunter's previous album, Wild Blue, can also be seen hanging in Hunter's studio, and was the beginning of their collaborative relationship.
