Growing up with the Wyeth family as childhood neighbors, Betsy and Andy became family – second parents – while Jamie and his wife, Phyllis, became treasured friends. The family’s love and influence shaped me in more ways than I can fully articulate, but in the end they "gave" me Maine.

In 2017 The Farnsworth Art Museum made this short and moving film about Betsy Wyeth to honor her profoundly influential role in the arc of Andy’s life and career. I am deeply honored to have been interviewed, along with their sons, Jamie and Nicky.
This is Betsy and Andy Wyeth’s house from the corner of my parent’s property on the Brandywine River in Chadd’s Ford, Pennsylvania. It was there that I cut my Maine teeth as a little boy; they would come home from Maine every autumn and I would behold the amazing Maine paintings that returned with them and hear their stories about the place and its people. It was there, over a dinner in the winter of 1977-78 that my life changed forever when Betsy told me (it was an edict, not an invitation) that I would be coming to Maine with them the following summer.
I have long collected and now offer, limited-edition prints by both Andy and Jamie. Additionally, I offer my portraits of Andy, Betsy, Jamie and their unique “worlds” as well as a limited-edition portfolio.
