INTERNSHIPS


MAP offers internships for upper level college students, graduate students and recent graduates. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis for our spring, summer, and fall terms.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Interns are responsible for assisting MAP in a variety of ways, ranging from programming to administration, with opportunities for special projects depending on skills and professional interest. 

 

Intern duties include: performing research, assisting with gallery preparation and installation, photo/video documentation, coordinating events, gallery sitting, social media and community outreach.

 

Please note that MAP internships are unpaid and do not include parking. Academic credit may be available.

REQUIREMENTS

Required: High interest, positive attitude, professional demeanor, reliability.

 

Preferred: Familiarity with Mac and PC platforms, Microsoft Office, Photoshop, and social media.

IMPORTANT DATES & DEADLINES

Spring: January 31 (Internship begins in February runs through May)


Summer: May 1 (Internship begins in June runs  through September)


Fall: August 30 (Internship begins in mid September runs through January)
