My artwork centers on the journey of healing and moving on from trauma. I use color, joy, mythology, dreams, gardens, nature, universal theory, text, and hope to transform trauma into regeneration.
Trauma healing creates opportunity to reformulate purpose, discover new paths of emotional intelligence, open new lines of human communication, and recalibrate connection with the natural world. Peer reviewed research on non-pharmaceutical, non-traditional trauma therapy, and years of living in the forest and working in botanical gardens are foundational elements reflecting throughout my work. Symbols of birth, re-birth, resilience, universe, dreams, myth, and hope are consistent threads.
