Jeff & Denise Hood

Owners, The District Gallery

Jeff and Denise Hood opened The District Gallery in 2010 with a dream of creating more than just an art gallery—they wanted to create a space where people feel welcome, inspired, and at home.

As a family-owned business,  our greatest joys are our community, and the relationships we’ve built through this gallery. We love being the connection between the incredible artists we represent and the collectors that get to live with their work.

We believe art has a special way of speaking to people. The right piece can bring beauty, joy, comfort, meaning, and inspiration into everyday life. There’s something powerful about being with art that moves you.

Jeff brings years of experience in custom framing along with a deep love of art and frame history. He genuinely enjoys helping people understand not just the artwork itself, but the story, craftsmanship, and presentation behind each piece.

We’ve always wanted this gallery to feel experiential—a place where you can slow down for a bit. Come in, have a coffee or tea, sit for a while, and have a conversation with us. Whether you’re a longtime collector or just beginning to explore art, there’s a place for you here.

More than anything, we want The District Gallery to feel like a place of connection—between art and people, artists and collectors, and neighbors and friends.
