Unforgettable Forgotten Coast: Plein Air Remembers

The Forgotten Coast is one of the last vestiges of "Old Florida." Hurricane Michael changed it radically in one day, especially Mexico Beach, Port St. Joe and Cape San Blas. Eastpoint, Carrabelle, St. George Island and Apalachicola also sustained coastal damage. It is the role of plein air to document and memorialize the Forgotten Coast as it is and save those memories for future generations. This exhibit looks back fondly at what may be missing or damaged.

The Reception for Unforgettable Forgotten Coast: Plein Air Remembers will be held Thursday, May 9, 2019, at 6:30pm at The Joe Center for the Arts, 201 Reid Avenue, Port St. Joe. The reception is free and open to the public.
