Unwound...a small collection about stripping and simplifying - not just process, but personal thought.  Focusing on one thing at a time, unpacking what’s to be pondered, learned or merely enjoyed, leaving the rest aside for later or not at all.  Childlike consumption with a single emotion, perhaps even a lack of feeling.  Wanting nothing more than to see what water looks like pushed over paper this way.  What difference a mark makes drawn that way.  Not apologizing for being provoked to paint the inky bold stripe on an upholstered wingback chair, instead of being inspired by anything outside.  Because these hot strange days, furniture makes up much of all our landscapes. An ode to being happily unwound within the confines of our walls.
