Born outside of London, England, Jenna gains inspiration from her European roots, places she’s lived and travelled, as well as her current surroundings in the Rocky Mountains. The arts and animals have played important roles in Jenna's life and her inspiration for her painting. She grew up riding horses, and when her family moved to the US, they of course brought her horse because he was part of the family. Growing up with animals instilled a deep respect and love in Jenna for all living things.
“Birds, Beasts and Bugs” often play the characters in the stories of Jenna's paintings. She hopes to encourage people to notice a little more of their surroundings even if its a tiny bird or an insect next time they're out walking. Jenna seeks to inspire people to protect and preserve nature through the excitement and experience they receive through her work.
Jenna has a Bachelors of Fine Art from BYU and also had the opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Italy. Her time abroad immersed in all kinds of art is one of the most impactful experiences on her as an artist. Her art is highly influenced by the colors she observes in nature and the places she has been, natural or urban. The joy experienced in Jenna's work is a reflection of her personality and quite possibly an infusion of the youthful energy she is immersed in as a mother of 4 kids.
